If you’re planning to visit, you may be asking…
What time is church on Sunday?
9:30am - 10:40am Life Groups
10:50am - Worship/Service
During Sunday Morning Worship you'll enjoy Biblically based messages from Pastor Phill as well as a great time of worship through prayer, praise, and giving.
What is the expectation of a first time guest of Lawrence Drive?
Just come be our welcome guest! We have guest parking reserved for you right by the main entrance. You will find greeters available to help you find everything you need. If you need specific info, questions or directions, the welcome center workers will be glad to serve you. We won't draw attention to you or make you feel uncomfortable. Everything you will need to follow along during the worship service will be in the worship guide to you will receive or on the screen in the worship center.
What should I wear?
We encourage people to dress comfortably. For some, that may mean dressing up, but for most is simply means wearing casual clothes. The New Testament simply instructs us to dress modestly and decently, so we do not require anyone to dress a certain way.
Is there something for my kids?
Yes! There is place for preschoolers (6 weeks through pre-K) during each worship service. For your school-aged children we have a special place for them as well. Be sure to check out the ministry pages for more information about Kidz World, M56, and AMP.
When you arrive on campus…
…greeters will be present to not only welcome you but to help direct you and/or your family to the Worship Center and/or age-specific ministry areas. Our friendly greeters can answer questions, provide info, or help you find a Bible study class just for you.
If you have a child…
Your infants, toddlers and preschoolers (ages 6 weeks – pre-K) will be cared for in one of our preschool ministry classrooms. Or, if you have a child in elementary school (4K – 4th grade) they won’t want to miss taking part in the fun-filled, exciting worship service in Kidz World.
Your child will enjoy their experience with our trained volunteers in each age group. One of our welcome team greeters or ushers in the worship center will be more than happy to escort you to the appropriate location for your child. More information is available at the Welcome Center in the lobby.
As you enter the worship center…
…ushers are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general requests. Should special needs arise during the service, feel free to ask an usher to request assistance. As a first-time visitor, you are our welcomed guest. We don’t expect you to contribute in the offering. Our members and regular attenders give joyfully and generously to support the work of the Lord. As our guest, your offering of completing a communication card and dropping in the offering plate is greatly appreciated.
After the service...
...you are invited to meet Pastor Phil and stop by the Welcome Center to answer any questions you may have.
